The foundations of ALK Group trace back to AKAL Tekstil, a family venture established in Istanbul in 1978. What began as a small hat workshop has gradually evolved into a respected company in the industry, driven by strong business ethics, production discipline, and reliability.
Established in China in 2012, the company operates to support supply processes within ALK Group’s operations both in Türkiye and globally.
Established in Germany in 2012, the company manages the European sales and operational activities of the Nordbron brand under the umbrella of ALK Group.
Established in the United States in 2018, the company was founded to manage ALK Group’s operations in the U.S. market and strengthen its operational presence in the region.
A Story That Grows Over The Years
1978
AKAL Tekstil was founded in Istanbul as a family venture and the production-focused journey began.
1993
Production capacity was expanded and the manufacturing infrastructure was strengthened through strategic investments in production.
1998
The Suyutti brand was established, laying the foundations for brand development in the field of textile accessories.
2000
The product range was expanded in line with custom production requests from clients, and the process of entering international markets began.
2003
The Kitti and KEPP brands were added to the portfolio. Product diversity was increased to target different customer segments.
2007
The SYT brand was added to the portfolio, further strengthening the group’s structure.
2009
An export department was established, and the first export shipment was made to Germany.
2012
The Nordbron brand was added to the portfolio, strengthening the brand structure aimed at international markets.
2016
The company moved to a new facility to enable more efficient management of production, marketing, and storage operations.
2019
The SUW brand was added to the portfolio, establishing a new business line in corporate workwear.
